Property address: The NSW street address you enter to generate a Statement of Environmental Effects (SEE) report. This is the primary data input for our service and is used exclusively for planning data collection and report generation.

Email address: Collected at the point of payment or account creation. Used for order confirmation, receipt delivery, download links, and account-related communications.

Payment information: All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store, access, or process your credit card details, card numbers, or bank account information on our servers. Your payment method details are stored by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.

Usage data: We collect limited technical information when you access our website, including browser type, device information, IP address, and timestamps. This data is used for service monitoring, security, and improvement purposes only.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your personal information is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Generating your SEE report using the property address you provide
• Delivering your completed report (PDF and editable Word document) via email
• Processing payment transactions through Stripe
• Providing customer support and responding to your enquiries
• Improving our service and diagnosing technical issues
• Complying with legal obligations under Australian law

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making unrelated to the service.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers located in Australia. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
• Access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only
• Regular security reviews and monitoring

4. Third-Party Services

We share your data with the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

• Stripe (stripe.com/au/privacy) — payment processing. We share your email address and transaction amount. Stripe handles all payment method data directly.
• NSW Government APIs — including NSW Spatial Services, the NSW Planning Portal, and ArcGIS MapServers. We transmit the property address you enter to retrieve zoning, planning controls, and cadastral data. No personal information beyond the address is shared.
• Resend (resend.com/privacy) — transactional email delivery for report download links and receipts.

No other third parties receive your data.

5. Data Retention

Reports and associated data are retained for 12 months from the date of generation, after which they are permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us. Payment records are retained for the period required by Australian tax law (5 years).

6. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or out-of-date information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe your privacy has been breached
